How to Pin a Comment on an iPhone
- Sign in to your TikTok account
- Press the human image-like button to go to your profile
- On your profile, tap on the video you want to pin a comment from
- On the video page, tap on the comment section, which looks like a circle having three dots in the middle.
- Now you are in the comment section, scroll through people’s comments carefully.
- Long press the comment you wish to pin
- There will be a white pop-up on the screen. On the pop-up, click on the “Pin” option.
- Clicking on the pin option means you want to pin that comment.
- Then a grey pin-like image will appear beneath the comment
- The comment you want to pin will go to the top of all other comments
If you choose a comment by mistake and wish to unpin it, follow the same step to unpin that comment.
How to unpin a comment
- On the comment section, find the pinned comment you want to unpin
- Long press that pinned comment
- A pop-up will show on the screen
- Tap on the unpin option to unpin the comment
- Now you’ve successfully unpinned the comment

- In the comment section, search for the comment you want to replace the pinned comment.
- When you find the comment you want to pin, click and hold on to it.
- A pop-up will show on the screen. Tap on the “Pin and replace” option.
This option showed as a pinned and replaced option because you already pinned a comment.

Follow the steps below to pin, unpin, and replace a pinned comment on TikTok:
- On your phone, tap on the TikTok app
- Log in to TikTok on your android device
You can get to the comment section in two ways:
- from your inbox
- by searching from your profile to the comment section.
Searching from the inbox method
- After signing up for your TikTok account, it will show the news feed/videos
- Below the video page, you will locate the inbox button
- Click on the inbox
- On the inbox page, scroll up and down to view the comments
- Click on the comment you want to pin
- Now you are in the comment section, long press the comment you want to pin
- There will be a pop-up. Click on the pin option from the pop-up options
- You will see a green pin-like image beneath the comment showing that you have pinned the comment.
Searching from your profile method: This method is a long process method of searching for the comment on your post from your profile page.
Pinning from your profile page
Below are the steps to pin a comment from your profile page.
- After signing up for your TikTok account, the news feeds/video page will pop up.
- On the news feed page, look below and click on the human-like button, i.e., your profile.
- Now you are on your profile page, click on the video you wish to pin a comment from
- Besides the video page, click on the Circle, having a three-dot in the middle. It is known as the comment section.
- After clicking on it, you are now in the comment section
- Scroll through and click on the comment you wish to pin
- Long press the comment you want to pin
- From the pop-up which appears on the screen, tap on the “Pin” option to pin the comment.
- Now you have successfully pinned the comment.

- Click on the pinned comment you wish to unpin

How to Replace a Comment in TikTok on an Android Phone
To replace the pinned comment, follow the steps below.
- Go to the comment section by following the steps above and using any of the two methods mentioned above.
- Search for the comment you want to replace the pinned comment with
- Long press on the comment
- On the pop-up that appears, tap on the “Pin and replace” option
- Now you have successfully replaced the pinned comment with another.

TikTok developers have introduced a desktop version of the TikTok software, which you can access from the TikTok website.

- Go to the Bluestacks website
- Select “Download Bluestacks” to save the file
- When the download is complete, search for it on your pc, click on it and open it. Note: The downloading process may take a while, so using a stable network and coverage with the perfect internet connection is advisable.
- After the installation, Bluestacks will start automatically
- Click on the download file to start the Bluestacks
- The Bluestack will direct you to Google sign-in page to access the google play store

- In the comment section, search for the pinned comment
- Long press the pinned comment
- From the pop up which appears, tap on the “Unpin” option
Can I replace a pinned comment in TikTok?
On TikTok, you cannot pin two comments on a video at a time, and you can only pin one comment on a video and then choose to replace that comment if you find any other fascinating comment about your post you wish to pin.
How to replace a pinned comment in TikTok on pc
Follow the steps below to replace a pinned comment in TikTok when using a PC
- Click on “profile” to go to the videos on your profile
- Click on the concerned video
- Click on the comment button to go to the comment section
- You will see the pinned comment as the first comment on that post
- Long press the pinned comment
- From the pop-up which appears, click on “Pin and replace.”
- Now you have successfully replaced the comment.
How To Pin A Comment On Instagram

When you pin a comment on Instagram, the pinned comment will appear before other comments in your comment section. Pinned comments can be yours or other users’ comments.

- Open your Instagram app on your phone
- Sign in to your Instagram account
- Go to one of your posts
- Tap on the comment icon to go to the comment section
- Scroll through the comment section to choose the comment you want to pin
- Swipe left on the comment, then click on the “Pin” option
- Instagram will give you a brief explanation of how the pin works
- Then below the explanation, an option will pop up to ask if you want to pin this comment
- Then tap on “Pin this comment.”
- Now the pinned comment will automatically move to the top
Unlike on TikTok, where you cannot pin more than one comment for one post, on Instagram, you can pin more than one comment on a post.

- On the comment section, click on the pinned comment you wish to unpin
- Swipe left
- Click on the “unpin” option
- Now the comment will be unpin
How to Pin a Comment on Facebook Using Android/iPhone
You cannot pin a comment on your personal timeline; you can pin a post from a page you own or a group.
And you can only pin comments on the Facebook web, not on the Facebook lite app.
How to pin a post on my Facebook page
- Sign in to your Facebook account by entering your username and password.
- On the news feeds page, tap on the three horizontal lines at the top corner on the right side
- Click on “pages.”
- Tap on the three (3) dots in the top right of the page
- Select the pin option to pin the post
How to pin a post on Facebook using the desktop
- Open www.facebook.com on the browser, either google chrome, moxilla firefox, etc
- Type in your username and password to sign in
- Click on the page you manage by following the steps above to go to pages
- Scroll down and click on the (…) button on a post you wish to pin
