Yul Edochie, a Veteran Nollywood Actor and the flagbearer of DPC, Democratic Peoples Congress for the Anambra Governorship elections talked about his proposed ambitions on why he ventured into contesting for the Anambra Governorship elections
Yul Edochie, the son of the veteran Nollywood Actor Pete Edochie who is contesting for the Anambra Governorship elections, told them that you are part of the problem if you are not part of the solution.
The veteran Actor Yul Edochie has promised the Anambra people that he will take them out of their bondage and sufferings of bad governance and lead them to paradise. He also made his people realize that they have reached the end point of their sufferings.
Yul Edochie promised to touch the lives of Anambra people, and he also promised to help empower Anambra youths to build and develop their potentials and talents.
He also believed that he is going to move Anambra State to the next level of development.
The veteran actor went on to say that being a Governor will not make him stop his acting career. He also said he could combine both the role of a governor and a Nollywood Actor, and if he has the opportunity to act in any movie, he will gladly so.
Politicians have failed us so, I’m in the race to touch the lives of Anambra people positively. Always remember that if you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem. The problems of Anambra people have reached the last bus stop. I joined the race to harness the creative potentials of the youths and the resource-endowment of Anambra and move the state to the next level of development.
He continued saying: It will not stop my acting career at all. I intend to combine both roles effectively. However, I’m willing to jettison acting in order to face governance for four years should it be required of me. An actor also has a right to contest for public office like every other citizen of Nigeria. So, I think the fact that I’m an actor is a major plus, not a setback.
