Apple released the iPhone 8 as a replacement for last years iPhone 7 with several improvements both in build and feature wise. In fact in a release note by Tim Cook he made it clear that they aim to launch smartphone’s that are magically powerful beyond expectation

Design and Appearance
Just like last year iPhone 7, the iPhone 8 also comes with a 4.7” LED backlit IPS LCD Capacitive touchscreen at 326 ppi pixel density.
Apple used reinforced laser welded steel and copper glass on the front and back of the phone making the phones which will improve the overall longevity of the phone as claimed by Apple. It has wireless charging capabilities.
iPhone 8 will come pre-installed with Apples’ new operating system -iOS11 which includes several features like redesigned control centre, better multitasking, improved camera quality, peer-to-peer apple pay and new safety features.
The iPhone 8 comes in two variants -64gb and 256gb storage configuration all variants comes with 2GB of RAM
iPhone 8 is equipped with a 12MP rear camera with f/1.8 sensor, PDAF, OIS, Quad-LED, Simultaneous 4K video and 8MP image recording, HDR for photo/panorama.
In the Selfie department, it has 7MP f/2.2 with face detection, HDR and Panorama.
Apple claims the new camera will deliver the highest quality video capture ever in a smartphone with excellent image stabilisation and 4k video up to 60fps.
Unlike the iPhone X, the Apple retained the home button along with fingerprint scanner with 3D touch
The price tag for the iPhone 8 is around £700 approximately 320,000NGN
