One good thing about life is that we can increase our self-esteem throughout our lifetime. Many have grown up in homes where their self-esteem was not taught. The results are that even if they are successful when they are adults, they will have to struggle with lack of acceptance, competence and ability on the inside. It is our inner feelings, and the messages we fill our minds with that can be changed.
How do you increase your self-esteem?
• Talk to yourself in a positive and motivational way
there is nothing that can affect your self-esteem more that unique voice in your head, that voice in your head is voice that you have no power over, and you listen to it almost twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, so there is no doubt that you will be greatly influenced by it. Begin to pay attention to how you speak to yourself. If you want to cultivate a healthy sense of self-esteem, you should also make positive confirmations like “I am amazing, outstanding and self-reliant” to assist in the development of your thought and your inner voice.
• Remember to focus on your strength
Instead of you focusing on your weakness and the things you are not good at, you should start up by building your strength. After all, every normal human being have a weakness, learn to put in more effort into developing your strength, then you will see that your weakness will not show that often.
• Love yourself
If you don’t love yourself, you cannot love others. Take out the thought that if you love yourself means that you are an enemy to others. Instead, love yourself truly, and then you will value others. If you do not value yourself, you will at the end have a negative feeling towards others like envy.
At least with these little tips, you should be able to increase your self-esteem.
