The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria MACBAN had applauded the federal government for proscribing the movements of the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB group and declaring them a terrorist group.
The cattle breeders group described the proscription as a ‘right step in right direction’.
It also said that the ban on the activities of the Indigenous People of Biafra would permanently destroy the IPOB group plans to cause division in Nigeria.
The group went on to persuade the federal government to look into the Senate President, the Nigerians Number 3 citizen, Bukola Saraki statement on the proscribing of the Pro-Biafra and confirm if he is among the politicians sponsoring the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra Nnamdi Kanu, and their agitations movements.
Alhaji Garus Gololo, the Nationa Coordinator of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria MACBAN, had said that such statement from the Senate President shows that he is no longer fit to lead the National Assembly.
He further went on to say that the statement from the Senate President was a clear signal that the Senate President Bukola Saraki might be among the politicians sponsoring the agitations of the IPOB group to divide Nigeria.
He expressed his fears over the presence of the Senate President in the National Assembly, and he also believed that his presence poses a great threat to the progress of the nation Nigeria.
He said: I think it is a high-time the Federal Government commenced full scale investigation into Senator Bukola Saraki’s activities in the Senate. I doubt if that man has the interest of this country, Nigeria, at heart.
For the number three citizen to be saying different things from the government, which he is fully part and parcel of, shows that Saraki hates Nigeria, Buhari and Fulani herdsmen and as such, his leadership is in doubt, and he should step aside.
We can’t continue to have someone in power that would declare support for a group agitating to break up Nigeria. We are for one Nigeria, and in unity, we stand.
Naijland.com had earlier reported the statement made by the Senate President Bukola Sarak,i on the ban on the Indigenous People of Biafra group by the South East Governors forum and the declaring them terrorist organization by the Nigerian Military.
Gololo stated that the IPOB poses a great threat to the peace and unity of Nigeria than the Fulani herdsman clashes with the farmers.
The ability of the government to declare IPOB as a terrorist group has saved the country from a premeditated war that could have led to the collapse of the unity and peaceful coexistence of Nigeria, he stated.
